Why Do I Have a Special Interest in Painting The Paddy Fields of Malaysia?
The fields are a metaphor for the cycle of life and our life journey. I have learnt so much during my visits: Each time I visit the fields, the view changes as I see the different stages of paddy plantation. But always serene, always expansive, always inspiring. ❤️

The Story Behind “The Gift” Painting - Lisa Teo Art

Supporting Local Artists! - Lisa Teo Art
In this exhibition, we artists tell our stories and life experiences. I share these 3 paintings that tell of my love for travelling and my experiences of the wonders of the world and its people. A graceful Balinese dancer and how their dance came about. The first bend of the mighty Yangtze River in China that has served millions of people through the ages. A lotus pond in shimmering pointillism sunset light.

This month of October is Mental Health Month. I am an advocate of art therapy and the important role it plays in improving one’s mental health. I am honoured to collaborate with esteemed psychiatrist, Dr Frank Clark, in creating this art for his beautiful haiku. Thank you Heidi Anne Duerr and Psychiatric Times for publishing our collaboration in promoting mental health.
What Do You Do For Fun During the lockdown? - Lisa Teo Art
When I’m not busy creating art, I spend time with Chloe, Ashton and our dog Chewie. The positive thing about Covid lockdown, working from home & online schooling is that we get to see our children a lot more. The downside is trying to find activities during the long summer holiday while being stuck at home.
